1999 Hammond Produce Ltd was incorporated to focus on developing a wider supply base for our crops, innovating new ideas and products, and delivering great quality fresh produce to our customers. 15 years on, we have grown our business supplying fresh food to multiple retailers, meal manufacturers, food service providers and bespoke local outlets.
Today The Hammond farming business is now run by the 4th generation of the family, Jon and Andy Hammond. Our BRC Double A grade accredited, 35,000 sq ft packing facility incorporates carrot & parsnip washing, trimming and polishing alongside leek, rhubarb and cabbage packing; complimenting this, we have a bespoke peel and prep operation specialising in premium cuts and grades of our core vegetable products. Our cabbage and leek harvesting operation is centred around field-based, mobile packing machinery allowing us to despatch washed, packed & chilled product from the field ensuring maximum freshness and efficiency.
The Hammond business offers a vertically integrated supply model from field to peeled across a range of produce which is unrivalled in the UK.
